Ejimive, an Anglo-Nigerian living in Coventry, makes an impactful debut album as an electro-musical force with tribal, satureese and melodic influences that promises an enjoyable surprise. Pamplemousse made its debut on Reunion Island in 2017 with his self-titled debut album released through A Tant Rever du Roi. Their blend of garage noise mixed with electro blues abrasion has received critical acclaim both locally (Heatwave, New Noise) and internationally (Magic, Rough Trade and KEXP).

Shards will be recorded at Black Box in Angers in 2022 under producer Peter Deimel (former member of Chokebore and Shellac). Produced by this trio’s music remains both electric and fiery; tension can be felt within its framework while an eruption is imminent. Combining her experience as a fashion model with art training has shaped her work immensely, yet she remains sensitive enough to translate materialistic dimensions into thick layers of vivid art. Working in spray paint, magazine collage, oil and acrylic she prefers airbrush techniques as her signature feature featuring feminine bodies juxtaposed against geometric structures.
