Major Chords

Once you select both roots and types, this app will present a selection of guitar chords that match that root+type combination (this could include various voicings or inversions). This process will continue until there are no more chords to show.
When first learning new guitar chords, it is beneficial to practice slowly by switching between them two at a time. To create a minor chord, simply lower the middle note by one fret – for instance, to convert a C major chord containing C, E and G into a minor chord you would need to move E to E flat (lowering by a semitone).

It is important to keep in mind that your index finger should never touch any of the bottom three strings as this could potentially cause injury if done incorrectly; learn to position your hand properly so as to use a mute with your thumb as a safeguard to avoid this situation altogether.
