Ginny’s Supper Club
Ginny’s Supper Club, located just beneath Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem, pays homage to Harlem’s vast cultural offerings; not only the Cotton Club or Count Basie but also Nina Simone and Kool Moe Dee are acknowledged.
This cozy basement space was created to evoke the Harlem Renaissance with patterned curtains, wood lattices, leatherette banquettes and bourbon glow lighting. After several attempts of entry we finally managed to sit at one of their tables right in front of their sizzling jazz band!

Live performances take place nightly ranging from jazz to Latin to classic soul and break beats; on Saturdays DJ Cosi digs deep into his archive for rarer grooves! SNS Bar
Sneakersnstuff opened a similar bar at their Los Angeles store in 2017. Swedish designer Jenny Askenfors of Bofink Design created its purple decor, inspired by NYC nightlife. Luxe fixtures incorporate gold and brass hardware nodding to the company’s Scandinavian roots while offering drinks as well as sneakers from its display fridges for customers to shop from; open both lunch and dinner, the SNS Bar can also host several music and fashion events!
