Along with selling instruments and accessories, Gruhn Guitar Store also provides lessons both online and in person in Nashville. They recently hosted a limited-size Nashville Experience camp for students that included tours of Sony Publishing and Gruhn Guitar store (where I got to strum a $90k Gibson banjo!), dinner at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant (I had my chance strumming it!), Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant for dinner before heading over to Ryman Auditorium for performances by her band!).

A world-renowned performer and educator, he has collaborated with some of today’s most sought-after artists while touring worldwide as an educator using his signature persona “Banjo Ben”. The banjo is a stringed instrument with a circular “pot” featuring a tensioned head similar to that of a drum, typically made of wood but metal was once common on older instruments. Sound production occurs through its resonator and amplified via metal rings to further clarify and project tone.
