Lithium

Lithium, commonly referred to by its chemical symbol Li and atomic number 3, belongs to Group 1 alkali metals that are highly reactive and toxic, including batteries. Although lithium carbonate inhibits manic episodes in bipolar disorder, lithium itself also has other applications including treating mental health conditions like schizophrenia and depression.

Kiesel Guitars recently unveiled a brand-new bass, the MJ (pronounced mah-jee) or Modern J-Bass, boasting an alder body fitted with carbon-fiber reinforced maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. Standard configuration comes equipped with Kiesel Radium single coil pickups but these can be upgraded to Alnico humbuckers or any number of other options as desired.

Tritium pickups provide a “modern, progressive sound.” Equipped with an EQ preamp, these bass guitars come in several scale lengths. Furthermore, the MJ features an extra deep cutaway for accessing upper frets.

Lithium batteries offer improved safety and performance, making them suitable for more applications than ever. A great alternative to traditional nickel-cadmium and lead-acid batteries, lithium CR2032 lithium batteries offer rechargeability with longer lifespan, are environmental friendly as they don’t contain mercury or cadmium and don’t emit odor or taste when charged; in addition they’re rechargeable! These rechargeable and long-lasting AA-sized cells are great choices for watches, remote controls, computer accessories as well as high-current electric guitars; with two year of battery life likely.

Thorium

Thorium is an element with multiple applications. It can be found in small quantities throughout the environment – air, food and water; nuclear reactors use it to produce electricity; its toxicity levels are relatively low but large doses could potentially cause lung cancer in large doses; however it’s less toxic than some metals such as lead and mercury, plus readily available than some rare metals.

Kiesel bass guitars are proudly made in the United States and come equipped with an extensive list of customization options, from neck woods, body woods, exotic top woods and pickups – as well as an easy 10-day return policy and no questions asked return policy – which make these instruments great value at their price points while offering improvements over Fender models.

The Kiesel Vanquish Series boasts two radiused-top Alnico humbuckers known as Kiesel Radium KRH that enable bassists to achieve an array of tone and pickup combinations, from traditional jazz sounds to electronic grooves. A single coil Kiesel Radium KRJ pickup can also be selected.

The VB4 Vader stands out not only with its stylish and comfortable design, but also for its quality construction. It comes equipped with a Kiesel locking nut that works with all standard string sizes as well as Hipshot tuners which don’t require double ball string sets to work optimally. Furthermore, this instrument features stacked-concentric bass/treble pickups as well as a sweep knob to help players dial in their ideal tone.

The MJ Bass is a modern take on the classic J-Bass, ditching its pickguard to showcase the wood of its top. Additionally, its tasteful top bevel provides comfort and aesthetics. Available with various scale lengths, pickup types and hardware configurations.

Illusionist

The term illusionist refers to:

Illusionism is an art form which employs natural means to amuse audiences. This genre of magic includes various effects and tricks. There are various subgenres of this art such as stage magic and close-up magic that fall under this category. An illusionist is defined as anyone who practices illusionary arts or plays natural instruments to make music; this includes musicians as well as artists or composers playing musical pieces together to form bands. An illusionist can serve not only as an artist, but also as an educator and mentor for other musicians, helping them hone their craft and inspire admiration of music in audiences alike. A great illusionist will create a sense of wonder among their audience which fosters an appreciation for music that leads them further along musically. An illusionist can also establish a close connection with their audience. This interaction allows audiences to feel like part of the show, making an experience they’ll remember fondly for years. Interacting with audiences through music can also build loyalty for musicians and bands, with illusionists using the power of their voices to dazzle audiences and create an air of mystery that keeps audiences on their seats. Furthermore, such interaction is great way for bands to gain media exposure as well as attract potential customers; ultimately leading to higher sales revenue as well as new talent being attracted into their ranks.

Polarity

Pickup polarity refers to the relationship between magnetic direction and coil direction of your pickup. It determines whether it will be in sync or out of phase with another pickup on your guitar; for instance, a stock Lollar Strat bridge pickup has magnetic polarity South up and coil direction counter-clockwise from ground (see photo). If installed into a guitar with Middle pickup having North up magnetic polarity and clockwise winding they will become out of phase and create an audible buzz if placed together resulting in out of phase and audible hum!

Matching the polarity of two single-coil pickups is key for effective hum cancellation. Doing this easily if all the pickups come from one manufacturer; for instance, Seymour Duncan RWRP pickups pair perfectly with either an RWRP Strat neck or Mustang bass pickups from their line-up.

Combining and matching pickups from different manufacturers isn’t always simple; their polarities and coil directions may differ slightly, leading to one pickup being out of sync with its partner pickups.

If your pickups are out of phase, their signals to the amplifier cancel each other out and produce an overall reduction in volume. When they’re in sync, however, volume increases significantly.

Polarity testing with an old-school compass is easy. Simply place the needle of the compass near the pole pieces and observe which way its magnetic pull attracts them – this will show which way your magnets are aligned in your pickup.

Learning your polarity will save you the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling a pickup once it doesn’t match up properly with another pickup on your guitar. If this occurs, chances are it could be related to poor grounding or broken solder joints on the instrument itself.

Beryllium

Beryllium is an extremely rare element with many applications. It can be found in small amounts in Earth’s crust and some igneous rocks; and can also be found naturally occurring minerals, including emerald and beryl. First discovered in 1798 by French mineralogist Abbe Hauy who speculated that gemstones contained an unknown element; Louis-Nicholas Vauquelin gave this new element its original name of Glaucinium but later it was changed to Beryllium due to sweet tasting compounds of its compounds; beryllium was later known by many more names such as hydrochloric acid reaction with potassium chloride or hydrochloric acid respectively.

Kiesel Guitar’s Icon Series guitars boast modern offset bodies with neck-through construction. Available in an assortment of finishes, hardware, and electronics options; their most basic model IC4 boasts an alder body with flamed maple top and two-piece ebony neck featuring 24-fret fingerboard.

The Icon Series bass guitars are an ideal solution for bassists searching for an affordable yet versatile instrument.
