Rusty Bucket Bay in Banjo Kazooie

Rusty Bucket Bay is one of the toughest environments in Banjo-Kazooie. Navigating its treacherous engine room can be an ordeal and swimming in its poisoned oily water poisoned by Gruntilda will quickly reduce oxygen levels twice as fast.

To get to Jiggy, run left after paying your egg toll and smash through the glass roof of its metal structure.

It’s a pirate ship

Rusty Bucket Bay’s ship at its end can be an enormous source of frustration. Not only are many pieces stuck in moving propellers (which cannot be turned off) and thus crushing Banjo and Kazooie instantly, but its surroundings are filthy and dangerous – perfect conditions for Banjo to go missing and Kazooie to perish instantly.

Gruntilda poisoned the water to make swimming underwater more hazardous; you will lose oxygen twice faster than while above water. Therefore, this entire level is an asphyxiation chamber.

Banjo-Kazooie’s engine room houses one of the most infamous bottomless pits, located within a ship! If you move too quickly while crossing any rotating platforms, these pits could also knock you into them!

As an additional pain point, this notoriously difficult level is also the only one in which Notes collected won’t automatically save – an especially annoying fact when its jigsaw pad lies behind Mad Monster Mansion! But there’s a trick for getting around this: Simply break through the entrance gate before entering Rusty Bucket Bay before switching into Pumpkin form and leaving Mad Monster Mansion before entering Rusty Bucket Bay to access Rusty Bucket Bay (this will unlock its jigsaw pad); once done so, run left and break open its cover grate that covers a tunnel!

It’s a bottomless pit

Rusty Bucket Bay is one of the most memorable and frustrating aspects of Banjo-Kazooie, considered one of the hardest worlds. Filthy water depletes oxygen levels twice as fast, making swimming underwater very challenging; many Jiggies require diving underwater or climbing funnels or cargo to reach. Furthermore, engine room of Rusty Bucket can be especially tricky since activating two switches simultaneously to slow down propellers enough to reach an inside jigsaw piece – not saving Notes either!

The first jigsaw piece lies within a ship, and can be reached by paying the toll bridge with eggs. After paying, rush over to the second crane and climb it with Kazooie; at its conclusion, drop down on your hands (tapping B before landing) so as to grab hold of jiggy!

Rusty Bucket Bay contains another jiggy trapped within its propellers; to stop them press a switch. After doing so jump back into oily water and swim backwards towards its rear to find another grate which needs breaking with a peck to gain entry to Click Clock Wood, which can be found through an underground tunnel behind Rusty Bucket Bay’s switch; once inside you will meet Brentilda who offers up her puzzle for this world which requires 10 Golden Feathers to complete it successfully. This level also contains Click Clock Wood puzzle that must be completed; when entering click Rusty Bucket Bay switch will trigger it automatically! This level also contains the Click Clock Wood puzzle from Click Clock Wood’s tunnel behind Rusty Bucket Bay switch which can only be completed by finding 10 Golden Feathers from that ship rear end!

It’s a mine

Rusty Bucket Bay is one of the toughest environments in all of Rusty Bucket Bay is one of the hardest areas in Rusty Bucket Bay is an arguably one of the toughest environments in Rusty Bucket Bay is one of the hardest places in Rusty Bucket Bay is difficult not just due to being a dockyard but because it contains polluted waters covered in oil which suffocate Banjo and Kazooie, making even breathing while swimming above surface very difficult while breathing while above surface can become even harder while swimming above surface difficult while breathing while swimming above surface is difficult. In addition, engine room contains an easy bottomless pit which can trap Banjo while at once slowing propeller blade rotation may save time by slowing propeller blade rotation allowing her to walk through faster allowing her time.

This level’s primary objective is to push a button that will stop the ship’s propellers, thus freeing Snorkel the dolphin. You do this by navigating an intricate system of pipes and platforms which may turn against you at any moment; golden feathers can also help break up branches so as to open up new ledges – this eventually leads to Click Clock Wood world for accessing Note door in game!

To gain access to this area, it’s necessary to complete Mad Monster Mansion and then break the gate behind it. When this has been accomplished, the door will be unlocked and you can enter. As soon as you step inside this world there will be a wooden grate which must be broken with a peck, before following a tunnel until reaching a beehive and finally the Jiggy Pad!

It’s a boss fight

Rusty Bucket Bay’s engine room stands out for its numerous hazards and dangers; from deadly propellers with teeth that suddenly come alive when hit to oily water that could kill in one dive; but what really makes Rusty Bucket Bay dangerous is its constant threat of death from invisible sharks.

First step of this harrowing adventure: get inside the ship. To do so, run left past the first toll bridge and pay its corresponding toll with eggs, jump over crates and smash a clear window using Kazooie in order to backflip into its control room and raise its anchor using its controls. Swim to its front side where Snorkel the dolphin is trapped beneath water until you press large button that raises anchor to release him; once done so a (02/10) Jiggy will appear.

Once on the platform that protrudes out of the water, jump onto it to collect a Mumbo Token (1/0). Break some wooden boxes to gain entry to the ship itself; once at the crane you can press a button to create an explosion-style Blast Corps blast before entering its cargo hold where your final Jiggy awaits (09/10).

This world is significantly more difficult than its predecessors. To unlock it, multiple steps must be completed: breaking open the gate at Mad Monster Mansion’s entrance and changing Banjo into a pumpkin must occur before activating its switch in this level. Furthermore, its difficulty spike is further amplified due to jigsaw puzzles requiring diving into dangerous oily water that decreases oxygen levels twice as quickly than air can.
