June Jam
June Jam began in 1982 by Alabama band members as an annual country music event to give back to Fort Payne, Alabama where they lived and still reside. Since then, thousands of attendees attend each year and it raises funds for charities and disaster relief initiatives.
June Jam boasts multiple electronic dance music (EDM) stages: Oasis, Stoop and Nook; Dewomp stage for comedy workshops and entertainment; tent and RV camping facilities and plenty of space – features which help create its unique atmosphere while remaining intimate as attendance grows – this aspect being especially essential when hosting an event that supports local communities.
At this event, artists such as Shenandoah, Old Dominion, Lee Greenwood and Montgomery Gentry with Eddie Montgomery will perform. Additionally, East Coast Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band High Noon will give an unforgettable performance, along with other well-known country acts Alicia Maxwell, Lower Case Blues and JJ Rupp who all regularly make headlines within country music circles.
Last year’s June Jam raised over $20 Million for charity organizations and disaster relief initiatives, thanks to organizers Randy Owen and Teddy Gentry (after founding member Jeff Cook passed away in 2022). Nina Andrews from Ohio said she loved attending because it provided aid for those who need it.
June Jam offers its guests numerous amenities, from BYOB drinks and family-friendly vibes to an extensive food vendor selection and children’s stage with free activities and community gathering areas. Anyone concerned about security can rest easy knowing that June Jam staff has made providing a safe, secure and enjoyable experience their priority.
June Jam Festival marks its inaugural move from its traditional home, but organizers are working hard to maintain its intimate feel. Their organizers pledged their dedication to expanding the event further while still honoring its history and maintaining its spirit of previous festivals.
