Xfinity R&B Music Channel

Your Xfinity TV package comes equipped with Music Choice channels that you can access either through the X1 app or using voice remote by saying, “Music Choice / Genre Name”, respectively.

Channels marked as TV-MA are authorized to air material with profanity or explicit content, such as swear words.

Streaming

Music Choice streaming capabilities on Xfinity allow customers to watch music videos and listen to songs across a variety of genres – hip-hop, R&B, country rock alternative Latino as well as decades-based channels are all covered here. Access is available via Amazon Fire TVs and Samsung Smart TVs or the Music Choice App on X1 devices and mobile devices.

Xfinity Music Choice channels boasts more than 20 music video channels, on-demand content and live radio programming from multiple providers – Xite, Pandora, iHeartRadio and YouTube are among them – while some channels even hold a TV Parental Guidelines rating of TV-MA, permitting profane language and explicit songs.

Xfinity also offers a free music-only service called Xite that’s available across its X1 boxes and app, providing customers with access to thousands of premium music videos. In addition, this service is accessible on other TV platforms including Apple TV, Cox Roku and Shaw TV platforms.

BET Soul features contemporary funk, soul, neo-soul, and R&B music from different decades. Formerly known as VH1 Soul, the channel transitioned under BET editorial control on December 28, 2015 with automated rotation featuring three repeats per day.

Music Choice provides subscribers with several genre-specific channels. Channels marked as TV-MA are intended to include more explicit material. These channels are accessible to cable providers and DirecTV customers who authenticate through TV Everywhere.

A New Era of Sound – Discover music videos, playlists and other media from partners including Xite, Pandora, iHeartRadio and YouTube in one convenient channel on X1. Access it by saying “Black Film and TV” into their voice remote to access this channel.
