Music fans will be pleased to know that after two years of postponed or cancelled shows due to COVID-19 pandemic, touring is back on full throttle in 2023. From neo-soul artist Jill Scott and pop icons Taylor Swift there will be plenty of shows available to choose from in 2023.
Blink-182 are back together for an all-star summer tour, joined by Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers, Gracie Abrams and Girl in Red.
Taylor Swift – Eras Tour
Eras is Taylor Swift’s sixth headlining tour and takes fans through an emotional and immersive experience that spans her ten albums over ten eras: Fearless (red), Speak Now (orange), Folklore & Evermore (yellow) (2020 surprise releases), Reputation (blue) & Midnights (purple).
At her concerts, Swift brings each era alive through unique stage designs, costumes and videos that she choreographs herself like an orchestra conductor or director, giving each an individual personality and tone – keeping longtime fans as well as newcomers enthralled during each performance. No wonder why her concerts sell out so quickly!
Swift is truly amazing when it comes to her stamina; she manages to pull off such an extensive performance in three hours without tiring or faltering during even her most physically-demanding songs, never looking tired or slowing down even during those which require the most of her. You have to marvel at how she memorizes all that dance choreography while keeping her voice healthy!
At her final performance of “Karma,” Swiftie conventioneers were eagerly awaiting an emotionally charged finale that featured fireworks bursting throughout the stadium and cannons blasting 10 colors of confetti from 10 cannons; each representing one of Swift’s albums – into the air.
But the real magic happened offstage, when all was glitter and glamour. Once MetLife Stadium lights had dimmed, Swifties gathered on the lawn to form a circle, holding their phones up like flashlights to sing along to an acoustic version of Swift’s song “Look What You Made Me Do.” For these women who had just witnessed an unforgettable show about first love and post-adolescent dynamics, this moment served as an opportunity for them to connect and honor a shared experience.

Yungblud will hit the road this spring to promote his self-titled third album. Starting April 28 in Seattle and concluding July 25 in Kansas City, his tour is supported by high energy US band Arrested Youth.
Yungblud uses his stage to create an intimate experience for his audience, engaging them and encouraging them to sing along and dance along to his songs. The crowd responds enthusiastically and enthusiastically in support of Yungblud’s music and messages – plus, the singer himself is very personable and stays after his show to meet everyone!
Yungblud concerts combine music and art – what the artist himself refers to as “art rock.” He has created an honest and unique persona which strikes an equilibrium between raw, political punk rock energy and emotional, meaningful lyrics (such as Casual Sabotage). As such, they create concerts which are enjoyable yet moving experiences.
After finishing his main set, the artist decamps to a smaller second stage that is decked out like an ordinary bathroom. Here he can come closer to his fans for a series of songs midway through his set – something which plays a key part in reminding his fan base that they are not alone in their struggles.
Yungblud boasts one of the liveliest audiences I have ever experienced. They cheer so loud that your ears ache, and continue doing it throughout every performance. I know these fans will remain here, and can’t wait until next time we meet up again.
